Now, before I begin stating any opinions... i need to first see what these fences will look like. I see what the fencing on route 2 looks like, and I also see the pictures of the electrofence or whatever it is called posted here.
Has the government decided on which type of wildlife fence to use?
Are we presently looking in to the effect this wildlife fence will have on other animals & their movement?

i think the government is going to perhaps build an overpass for the animals because basically you cant trap them inside on one side. they do need to get around. it would be quite interesting to see an overpass for animals to cross. id love to see it. the fences that cdr has posted in the "PROOF THE FENCES WORK SECTION" are amazing. i live maybe 20 minutes from these fences and they are 100% amazing. they do enough to scare the animal away.
there is a site thats dedicated to making that type of fencing, its too bad they couldnt donate the first pieces and then the province wake up and do the rest thats what i think
welcome to the site dynomax. i hope that the fences will be like the ones in the north near belledune NB, those are very effective and have been proven to work. its the right thing to do.
